A crown can be made from porcelain, alloy, gold or a combination of these. The best materials and colour match are determined with the dentist and technician.

A shade consultation may be needed for more complex colour.

A surgical stent is used to guide the implant at a pre-planned position and angle, and is used by the surgeon for accurate placement of components.

Palatal dressing/Guards and used to protect the palate after a graft. Usually requested by a periodontist for aftercare of a graft. And before care of an implant placement.

A mouthguard is a rubber shield worn over your teeth to protect them from damage during  sporting activities.

BCI Dental Laboratory custom fits a mouthguard from an impression taken by your dentist. Dentists recommend this as the best approach to protect your teeth, as “off the shelf” mouthguards are usually poor fitting and uncomfortable.

A dentist will select either single, dual or triple laminated mouthguard depending on the age of the patient and the activity they require the mouthguard for.

We stock a large range of colours, with less popular colours available within a couple of days if not in stock.

BCI Dental Laboratory fabricates custom fitted bleaching trays from impressions taken from a dentist. The very thin trays, which hold bleach during the teeth whitening process, are designed for patient comfort.

A special tray enables the dentist to produce high precision impression results. They are custom made to fit accurately around restoration area.

A dentist may send a patient in for a shade consultation or colour match. We use natural light to perfectly match your new crown to your existing teeth.
